I used this on my 2010 R56 (N14 engine) Mini Cooper S.It works out of the box and was 100% compatible with the OEM. Unlike the other reviewer, I had no issues with a stuck valve. I did lubricate prior to installation.

Had a shop install this to replace my leaking original, and the oil pressure light came on. The shop checked everything, and eventually took this back out and examined. One of the oil passages was completely closed in the casting. It’s supposed to be drilled through from the factory for oil to flow, and it wasn’t. The oil filter wasn’t even completely wet after startup. Gives zero oil pressure. Now I have to purchase another unit, and pay for labor all over again, along with the diagnosis. I’m hoping this thing didn’t damage my engine. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.
