So far it has been fine. I am not using this for a Focusrite, but to power a DAC and iPhone. It works, but it did require some plugging and unplugging. Perhaps this isn't the intended purpose, so it may not be the fault of the cable. It seems to run power fine. The cable quality is a little too rubbery for my likes. The cable jackets are thick enough, but the connection points and split seem sort of flimsy. I wonder if they may begin to split over time.

This is an interesting cable. I wanted to connect an Android phone to a headphone amp, use a dac and charge the phone. Android devices that have a built in headphone jack normally won’t allow that even when you have a split dongle with one side set to charge.This cable actually works when it is compatible but I had to figure that out by trial and error. It works fine with my iPhone but that’s not where I needed it. Ultimately I found that if it works with the dac/amp or device you want to use, it will probably work with an Android device. It does matter that you first connect it to the audio device and turn that on, then power the phone. You may need to enable otg on the phon e or android device. It is also sensitive to the power block you plug it into. It kept triggering the off on my surge protector depending on the charging block. Once I got it sorted though it did what I needed and is the only way I’ve found so far to do this.
