I specifically was looking for a of probes that were a standard size 1000 volts rated and had exposed banana leads. These probes have detachable points, are well-made are the standard length and weight of commercial off the shelf probes that come with multimeters. I highly recommend this seller.

The quality and craftsmanship in the test leads totally failed. I ordered one set, and the wires broke free from the solder joint in the test lead. I then ordered a second set and the same thing happened. The wires broke away from the solder. I then actually had to unscrew the housing from the test lead re-stripped the wire and solder it myself. I then check the negative test lead and it was only one strand of wire that was actually soldered to the test lead. So if you do not mind redoing the solder work on the test leads, then they will work fairly well. Very poor quality control from the manufacture.

Ordered these to replace the leads that came with my Harbor Freight meter. Many reviewers note that the 4.5 mm plugs fit loosely in their meters sockets. So did these when I first inserted them. This is not uncommon on many of the inexpensive aftermarket leads. All I did was use a .055 wide jewelers screwdriver slipped into the gap between the contact fingers and wedged against the center post that runs the length of the terminal to gently bend the center of each segment up. Leads then had good tight connection with no play.This is such a simple fix that I don't think this should dissuade anyone from purchasing them based on that problem. If your mechanical ability and skillset are so poor that you can't fix that simple a problem,you probably shouldn't be attempting to test electrical circuits!

These leads work adequately with my multi meter. They leads themselves are a little light but again adequate for my personal use.

I mostly just do continuity checks and voltages on my batteries. I have a couple of different VOMs and it fits both. There is some slight internal resistance. The wires are fairly thick and the plugs seem to be well built. They could fit a little tighter in the sockets. Overall I'm pleased and would buy them again.

REALLY GOOD ITEM:Yes A Couple Years back i got A Nice Tester Cheap From Amazon.Now i cant complain the Tester was really -very good- and the more so for what I'd paid sic.Unfortunately it was truly a 'Bargain Basement' item still it largely did its job, But sadly the Test Leads while acceptable simply didn't hold up.Now these new leads or Uxcells are really great, I like them and i am choosy as Heck.They are good and heavy and and frankly they do fit the Tester/Volt Meter better an more snugly then the originals did !.PROs:They are really good and almost are picture perfect!.CON's:In truth there are none!...And thats the way it goes, So buy a pair for yourself and see the difference, The only error I made was NOT in buying these sooner, So buy a pair for your self and See!.....Nuff Said:IndianaED.....
