These clamps are very strong and well made. I used them to hold on the edge of the plastic front spoiler on my truck when the original clips were broken that attached to the inside of the bumper.

So the application I used this for was to clamp two 1/4" pieces of metal which connect to the flex pipe to the catalytic converter on a sedan vehicle. Since one of the welded bolts was rusted and cut off, I needed a way to hold the 3 screw pipe together and there was no way to drill through the metal - no matter how hard you can try. This was a perfect fit to "clamp" the two pieces of metal at the washer level together. A great way to avoid a headache and keep everything together while the other two flange bolts keep everything together. I'm hoping this will hold everything together because it's really tight and will not move, until the next time the exhaust system may need to be replaced altogether. This little guy is awesome and I have 3 more to experiment with around the house, but it definitely fit the bill. Only thing I'd hope for was smaller sizes available for smaller, tighter spaces. Overall a great device and worth the price for purchasing 4.
