This is the only male to male M42 adapter for telescopes I've been able to find. The threads on both ends are 0.75mm.The opening diameter on both ends is 42mm male, and the thread pitch for both is 0.75mm. This is a standard telescope and "T adapter" thread size and pitch.Do NOT confuse a M42x0.75mm thread with an M42 camera lens or adapter ... or try to use it on an M42 mount camera or lens!! While these are also 42mm in diameter, the thread pitch is 1.0mm. This adapter will "start," but it will soon jam and if you try to force it you'll strip the threads on something.
