These are very comfortable. I like the slick fabric, so my pants glide over them easily instead of cotton, which grabs on to the blue jeans. Of course there is cotton in the most important part.

Don't be afraid by gender labels, as a guy, i can appreciate a quality pair of comfortable underwear. These are so soft and smooth and hold my man parts in. "Oh no a dude wears women's underwear" well who gives a crap, really? It is worn under your regular clothing. As long as you don't wear your pants halfway off your backside, you'll be alright. It's 2024, heck men can even wear dresses in public if they want. This isn't the 90s when making sexual orientation jokes was a thing (good riddance to that). These hipsters will not ride up like boxer briefs or boxers, they won't feel itchy like "mens" briefs, nor will they fall apart like another famous brand... Sorry, victoria, the secret it out and men like soft, stretchy, and silky underwear too and vanity fair hipsters are the best!

Vanity Fair makes a good product, in my opinion. I’ve got a few pairs in different styles and like them all. The ones being reviewed here are the Illumination Hipster and the color choice was the rose stripes. I love these. I think they super cute and they’re very comfortable for all day wear. I didn’t notice them once from morning til night. These are hipsters so they don’t have as low a rise as, say tangas or bikinis, but they’re not briefs either. I’d say they’re a mid-rise. In the back, they are absolutely full coverage so, no “cheeky” panties here.As far as comfort, there’s plenty of stretch for male wearers like myself, so if you’re a man, these would be fine. And the fabric, mostly nylon and spandex, is soft to the skin and yet breathable, in my opinion. I also find the gusset area, with its cotton lining to be extremely comfortable- not too narrow like some other panties.I haven’t noticed and panty lines showing, but I wouldn’t be surprised if someone had that experience due to the elastic around the entire edge of these, waist and legs. Though, in this case, I wouldn’t be worried about any VPL because of where they sit - the back leg seams rest pretty much where a lot of male briefs would sit, so that would be indistinguishable from the male version, with the possible exception of the gusset seam across the bottom. But you’d have to be looking pretty closely and with the right kind of pants to notice that.Overall, a very nice panty, comfortable both in fit and fabric, and super cute colors and patterns.

I love these hipsters by Vanity Fair, and have bought several in different colors, all in size 7. They all fit uniformly great except the pink striped one, which runs slightly smaller than the rest. Too bad, because I love the color/pattern!
