The bucket appears to be well made. I've bough them before from other suppliers and have not had any problems with them.Update: Bought another one and noticed glue on bottom. Glue makes crackling noise when pushing against bottom. I can only guess it's there to prevent leaking. If so, seems it wouldn't last., e.g. I see cracks developing in the glue. Bottom seems sturdy enough even with crackling sound.

This seems like a good heavy duty galvanized bucket. I bought this to use hooking to a rope for drawing water from a well. I built an old fashioned well house over a hand dug well and the bucket I had leaked so I got this as a replacement. While I won't be using it on a regular basis, the bucket will be hanging under the roof 24/7. Even though it's under the roof it'll be somewhat exposed to the elements. The galvanizing appears okay but not as heavy as some I've seen. The bucket is decently heavy but not overly so. What I really liked about it was the handle was curved at the top to allow the rope hook not to slip when using it. Only time will tell how well the galvanizing holds up but so far I like this bucket.

I never spent this much on a bucket, but this pail will last generations. It is a brute. Super well made. Large capacity. Lots of uses! 👍

It’s a metal bucket. It hasn’t sprung any leaks and does what I need it to do. I carry water about 30 yards to the dog dish.

I want more of this item! ! received a great deal from amazon and this is a big unbelievably sturdy top quality pail. I am using this to transport and store produce and it looks so great instead of dirty baskets. I have a rather industrial inspired kitchen and this galvanized steel blends in perfect. I like the strength and comfortable handle, I can simple wash it out with ease.
