Protector does not stay in place for any length of time. It slides on the carpet and curls up on feet of adjacent furniture making it prone to tripping. Needs at least daily, sometimes more, repositioning.

These are small carpet protectors just enough for in front of a door or patio. It stays in place, because the grippers great. Just keep in mind the size before ordering.

I used this on carpet, in between two thick, sturdy covers. It buckles, and gaps from the carpet when pushing a medical lift over it, sometimes raising up and preventing me from rolling. It only lays flat when unused. Not thick or stiff enough, but is better than carpet.
