You cannot beat this lens for the monneh (ha)! Seriously great full frame lens that produces a sharp image, some slight vignetting, but nothing that cannot be corrected in Lightroom. Small, lightweight, autofocus is not bad, Fast aperture, great for all kinds of applications!

For the price, I feel it’s unbeatable! Needed an all around prime lens for a trip I’m making. Taking the trusty and compact A5100 and this lens by Viltrox. I was honestly skeptical about the quality… and now I’m a believer! My first lens by this manufacturer, and I’m impressed. Price point and quality.

Me gustó bastante, el enfoque no es el mejor pero quiero creer que lo tengo que actualizar y que además es por el enfoque de mi equipo (a7II) que ya es tiene sus muy buenos años, estoy seguro que con una cámara más actual, sería excelente. La nitidez es buena para videoclips y cortometrajes, en cine no necesitamos la nitidez que piden en revistas xd

Got the V2 even though I ordered the first version (that can be firmware upgraded to f1.6 or so they say). Within a year of purchase, mine has a small edge-bloom of either oil or possibly separation on one of the internal elements. Viltrox kicked me back $20.00 after I complained. Not the best compensation.AF is exceptionally bad. Not super slow, but it hunts (quickly) and objects within its normal range bounce in and out and wind up being out of focus even after AF-S lock.It's a shame, because otherwise the lens produces great results. f5.6 is an easy sweet spot. It's sharp, nice background blur, has just the right quality of flare when shooting a golden hour scene. Good contrast and colors. Viltrox just really dropped the ball with the build quality on this, despite it looking like a solid, attractive lens.

Takes way too long to hunt for AF even when there’s plenty of light. Missed my return window otherwise I’d send it back and just spend the extra $200 to get the Sony version.

Can't describe how exciting it is to produce such quality photos from a lens at this price point. It's not only good for portrait photography but also for videography. The weight isn't so much that my wrist hurts or that it's a pain to calibrate on a gimbal. It is very sturdy, focus fast and smooth. Would highly recommend if you'd like to step your game up without the hit to your wallet. I won't say it's a perfect lens as I know of one other that is only slightly more expensive but it competes well with this one.

I should have got this earlier. I end up spending way to much on lenses so the Sony 20mm is not out of the question in the future. But at almost 3x the price of this one I figure why not give this a try. I've used Viltrox's lens adapters and they work better than my bigger named brand adapters. Always solidly built, this lens is no exception. It reminds me of when I first picked up my Sigma 18-35. It's heavy! On my A6600, which already has some weight to it, this combo gets heavy but not uncomfortably heavy. It actually feels really durable. I took a handful of shots to practice and with focus peaking and focus magnification I hit each and every shot without a hiccup. Another flawless Viltrox product. I'll probably look into the lenses that they make for Fuji next since I own both systems. I highly recommend. Sharpness, build quality, durability, low distortion, low fringing, this has it all. I highly recommend.

Considerando il costo non ci si può lamentare di nulla. Lente buona in tutto, leggera vignettatura che si elimina in due minuti durante la pp. Nitida, definita, ben costruita, pesante il giusto, ghiere ottime.
