The double loop at the ends helps with slipping to keep it secure. Does the trick for the hammies

When this arrived, I planned to send it back but once I found some videos on YouTube demonstrating how to use it I changed my mind. Already feeling the benefit after a week of using. Anyone with tight hip flexors should get this.

This is an excellent product. I originally ordered it for physical therapy at home and have expanded its use to Yoga classes and taking it on travel to use. I like the independent loops over a D-ring style because you can easily grab any loop and get a good hold to put some "oomph" into your stretch. The independent loops also make it easy to adjust your grip from one loop to another without having to re-adjust (re-wrap) the straps around your hands as you change stretch positions. It is holding up well. I don't use it with shoes, so I don't need to wash it often. It appears very well made. I am laughing my "bleep" off at the reviewer who thought this strap was elastic. The description and pictures clearly show that this strap is to help YOU stretch and is not elastic. No mystery and no big surprise for the many 5-star reviewers. If you want a stretchy strap instead of a stretch strap, search for "resistance bands." I hope they already found what they needed. :-D

Very good device, easy to use. I use it to stretch my quadriceps muscle following knee replacement surgery. The doctors want to see at least 120 degrees of motion between the upper and lower legs. The stretch strap makes this much easier. Use by placing your foot in one of the loops. Then lie on your stomach and bring the other end to the strap up to your head. Then gently pull the strap bringing your foot closer to your buttock until you feel resistance in your thigh muscle. Hold for 15 seconds and repeat 3 times. Don't forget you have to also do quadriceps strengthening exercises as well as stretching. I bought a second strap for a friend who just had the same surgery. This exercise can be seen on the bottom of pages 22 and 23 of the Vive stretch Strap Manual. Priced slightly lower than competing products.

Just perfect for what I wanted. I had had a strap like this several years ago, but I gave it to a neighbor who needed it more than I did. I missed it and now I'm replacing it and this strap is just perfect. I love the fact that it has nice big loops for my feet as I do stretches every morning before I get out of bed using this wonderful little device. No major problems on my side, but being 67 years old, it is nice to be able to stretch in the morning before I get out of bed and in the evening before I go to sleep. I guess we don't realize how little some people moved out days and by some people, I mean me. I do a lot of walking but it doesn't necessarily move hips and shoulders the way they should be moved. A friend's mom shared the fact that she used her yoga strap for exercises everyday and I have to tell you that this woman was remarkable. She was 94 years old and in great shape because of little things that she did over the years that made a difference. This was a no-brainer, really. 5 minutes before you get out of bed? What a great way to start your day - doing something positive for your body as you wake up.
