This type of air pump is quite noisy works very well even when using a six Way adapter works amazingly well worth the $

Lots of air flow! The hose isn't the best but it's a good price for what you're getting. This product is fairly loud and puts off a good amount of heat. Neither matters if used out side but I could see how inside this could be a con. For me I set it on a concrete paver where it gets plenty of air flow so it hasn't been an issue. It's all cast metal so I would say it's pretty durable for being outdoors like in my application. I Would 10/10 buy again for my duck pond application.

This product was advertised as very low noise but this is not the case. This pump is MUCH louder than my previous one. It pumps air very good but is so loud I am considering using my old one. Is there anything that can be done to quiet it?

I'm not the first to mention that there is no brass outlet nipple/fitting. So yeah, no nipple, requiring me to go downtown to buy one. The air lines are such poor quality that they're not even worth saving in a junk drawer.But the pump seems to work fine, putting out a decent amount of air. So far it's noisy because I don't have a line connected to it, but when I put my finger over the hole, it quiets up right nice.I bought this for a diode laser engraver, so I can't comment on the air stones. Maybe I could use them to sharpen something?

I don't have any fish. I got this to use as an air assist for my diode laser. There is a noticeable difference between the standard 30lpm air assist and this pump which puts out roughly twice as much air

I have high quantities of chlorine and chloramine in my tap water and for my indoor garden I use the bubble method to drastically reduce both chemicals in the water before I use it to water my vegetables. Also have recently used to make a compost tea using this air pump. The only cons I can see is it is a bit loud and if you don't have it secured it does vibrate at such a high oscillation it can move around. Other than that it does get a little warm when in use and I would recommend anyone getting this have it in a good place where the intake has plenty of access to air. It can heat up to the point where the tubing used to focus the out flow of air can get hot and slide off of the connecting valve. I used zip ties to secure the air tubing on both ends and a small clip fan to help keep fresh air blowing over it so it doesn't slide off again. Overall it does exactly what I want it to and it preforms wonderfully, so far.

I've had the pump running 24/7 sine the day it arrived and the only issue I've had was the hose coming off the barbs.The pump is louder than I expected but don't take that to mean it's excessively loud. It's not.Solid kit for the price.
