Went through several air pumps trying to find one that would be powerful enough for a long aeration bar in a 125 gallon tank. This one is perfect. It powers a foot-long aeration bar and several disks with capacity to spare. Hidden behind a cabinet door, you cannot even hear a hum, nor do you feel any vibration.Definitely worth every penny!(Now let's hope it will last. Have only had it for a few days.)

Bought two of these pumps. the first one for my main and the second for a back up as I have to have a back up just in case.First one failed at about nine months and only simple diaphragms needed to get it up and running. Zero warranty, Zero support to contact and zero parts available. it’s too bad because I do like the pump.Professional fish keeper here not your average dummy…

I’ve had a number of pumps for my small outdoor koi pond. This one is the best ever! It’s very quiet and yet really puts out the air. I am 100% happy with this purchase and so are my fish!

Fairly quiet. Good air flow. It died after 18 months of indoor use. I thought it should have lasted longer.

I have done a lot of research and have tested a few air pumps and this pump knocks it out of the park. Dont waste your money on those cool looking "commercial" air pumps they get hot and are junk!1) this pump doesn't get hot. The original video I watched the guy had it sitting in its Styrofoam it came in to quiet the pump even more.2) the pump has adjustable air which is awesome.3) this thing puts out more air than the commercial ones I have triedAnyways, hands down this pump is awesome and it's very well built and doesn't vibrate across the floor. When you have it on the ground it stays stationary as it should. Good job! Whoever made it for sure!

Don’t bother with those cheap low wattage pumps that are either noisy or can pump enough air to do the job. This thing is solid and very quite. Sure it make noise but it’s hard to hear over the bubble sound. Yes the bubbles are more ‘noisy’ than the pump itself. I have this running continuously to two 6” air stones and tied off the other two ports with knotted tubing. There is an adjustable dial to turn on and off and control the air flow. High is like a volcano of air and I have to turn way down for the effect I need. I have gone through cheaper pumps and they either fail quickly or can even get air out of the stone or just a small bit. Super quite, large volume of air and seems solid. Well worth the extra few bucks. Recommend

As with my other reviews, this assessment was over a period of time.I received this item quickly and it was well packaged. When I saw its bulk, I thought a better name forit should be Pondhorse but it is not as large as it seemed—certainly not as big as a koi pond pump. Infact when I unbolted its case to see whether it had replaceable parts and filters, (an extra filter isincluded) I had a surprise. It’s a dual diaphragm pump similar in specs to the GHP one only it has athick housing to cut down noise. Like the GHP it is a four line capacity pump and it came with avalveless plastic manifold with four outlets. I would have preferred a metal manifold with valves butsince I did not have that option, I improvised using plastic T-valves and pieces of tubing. Thisarrangement works as long as I don’t push the air too high for this pump is powerful enough to blowthese cheap valves. Adding a valved manifold allows for balancing the output—something that isneeded when sending air to two direct injection buckets which can run on low output and two bucketswith airstones which require a higher air output. I have successfully driven four buckets at mediumoutput where the electromagnet hum is drowned out by the bubbling. Still, a metal manifold withvalves would have been a good addition to this pump and will be a future upgrade. One really nicefeature of the pump is that it has a switch—no need to plug or unplug. The same switch has a dial foradjusting airflow in fine increments. Although there are tick marks on the dial, they are hard to see so Iuse my ears to adjust the air output. This is also the first air pump I have running continuously ratherthan on a timer and it has not failed so far. It is definitely a good choice if you want to run multipleRoot Spa type DWC buckets with a single pump. I also plan to test it on a sixteen site airlift irrigationsystem I am building.
