The battery life is not good at all, and the amount of air flow is poor. I am going to have to just spend the money and get a good bubbler for fishing. Honestly, I would rather buy the D batteries and use the good old 10000 bubbles!

I bought two of these, one for each of my 20 gallon aquariums. I keep them always plugged in with the USB cable so when the power goes out my filters and pumps will continue to run. Automatically switching from power source to battery works great, and it is surprisingly quiet. I love it overall.However, the problem I'm having is that the tubes that come with the unit keep falling off. It's almost as if there is too much air pressure and it blows the tubing right off of the stem. This is occurring periodically with both of my units. The tubing itself is very soft and pliable so I'm wondering if stiffer tubing might work better and stay put. I will look for that next time I'm shopping.

This thing is amazing for keeping your bait alive and feisty. Battery life is good up to 10 hours for me so far and still had life left. The duel airflow also helps keep the bubbles and skim from forming on top of the water AS bad. That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t happen. The unit is super quiet as well. Stand right next to it is even hard to hear it. I highly recommend.

These are impressive backup air pumps. I used them to transport fish on a long drive, and the battery held up for more than 10 hours on the intermittent setting. I had to stop overnight, and a few of them were still going in the morning. That's really impressive performance given their size and price. They do make a little bit of noise, but that's mainly only if they are up against something where you can hear it vibrating. They put out a significant amount of air, certainly more than most fish tanks would need on a temporary basis. These are definitely staying in my toolbox for power outages and other situations where I need backup air.

It actually did work for eight hours on the battery charge alone, bought it for emergencies, but nice to know it does work as promised.

Bought this in case of a power outage for the fish. The mode and flow rate adjustment works wonderfully. But my experience so far, after 6 months of use at minimum, once this thing charges up so far it wants to kick on automatically until it runs itself dead. Last power outage it only ran for about 4-5 hours on the lowest flow setting when it's supposed to last 100 hours at full charge at that flow rate.

We evacuated from hurricane Milton knowing we were going to lose power. We put the pump on 25% on the intermittent setting which was still pumping a good amount of air. We left on Tuesday morning and came back Thursday late afternoon and after 54 hours the pump was still going strong and my fish is ok. So glad I picked this pump over the other options. Highly recommend!!Edit: 80 hours and still trucking!
