Needed to get some more Oolong tea and found the reviews for this tea seemed to be real and good. I am in agreement with the 5 star reviews and will be looking at to see if they have other teas. Has a very robust oolong taste and leaves look healthy and fresh! Will be getting more in the future. Bonus it is less expensive than others...

I’ve experimented with different brands of Oolong tea, this is by far my favorite!! Great flavor just be careful not to over steep. I have switched from coffee to tea.

Definitely good value for the Quality of the tea. I have 3 different white tea in the house; the other two were quite bit more expensive. One is an award inning white tea which I got directly from the tea plantation store in person; but that is far better than this; but that comes more like in a jewelry type box and quite expensive and the other one I purchased form ;local store but nearly as good as this one even though I paid a higher price. This is definitely good quality white tea and you can easily steep 2 8 once tea from each packet.- Good taste - great value

This is a great Oolong tea. I've been looking for a Formosan style Oolong to replace my daily go-to tea that I drink at work after Upton Tea discontinued one that I have been drinking for years. This tea is at a nice price point. The leaves are rolled and present a neat appearance when you open the bag, then bloom out very well when they are in the hot water. The scent from the bag is wonderful and really made me want to try a cup. The taste is just like the aroma. It is a bit earthy and definitely has a bold flavor profile. At the same time it is a good tea for work as it does not get bitter or otherwise overwhelming if business keeps me away and it brews for longer than an ideal amount of time. Even after a lengthy infusion it was delicious. I would guess anywhere from 3 to 4 infusions can easily be made from the leaves (the company says up to five).I hope that they continue to produce and sell this tea for a long time to come. It has definitely earned a place in the selection of teas that I want to have around all the time.

Over the passed few decades Taiwan oolong producers have been lending their extensive expertise to Vietnamese gardens making mostly the greener oolongs. This one is a delicious, old fashioned, charcoal roasted oolong. It has everything an old tea drinker like me loves about oolong. Let me count the ways: full slick mouthfeel, a roasted top-note with with a sweet finish, stands up to multiple steeps slowly bringing out fresh characteristics, a beautiful stone fruit flavor being most pronounced. If you're new to oolong don't just toss it after one steep, this one can easily give you 5 or 6 satisfying brews. Experiment, don't just follow the directions. Brewing tea is an art and the only way to learn it is find out what's right for you. At these prices you can afford to. This tea is an excellent value. For those who know the art of Gongfu you will not be dissapointed. I wish I could write VIXI and compliment their workers on a job well done.

I could hardly wait to try this, soon as it arrived. Meanwhile, I was being updated on Vietnam's part in the History of Tea, and between that, and the photos of the Pickers in the Old Trees, I finally got to appreciate at least some of what Vietnam has in way of Tea, and especially for WHITE Tea, which is partway between Green Tea and another tea, but does not have the Grassy Taste of Green Tea. Nor does it have the Bitterness of Green Tea that's been brewed Too Hot. However, Vietnamese White Tea is not the same as the ones from China, so don't expect to see "Silver Needles" Tea Leaves. It is a very mild tasting, but still flavorful, and aromatic tea, with none of the bitterness of other teas. It's probably the best tea to be taking a Break with, and your body will feel the relaxation that the L-Theanines and the Catchin's will put you into. I did not use the high brew temperatures suggested. I first did the middle one, which was ok, and then for my #2 Infusion, I lowered the brew temperature another -10F >, but increased the Infusion time another 30 seconds. It was better than #1, so you can try doing it too. I really like this Vietnamese WHITE Tea. It doesn't cost too much, but still delivers on what a WHITE Tea can be capable of, so I'm going to recommend you try this WHITE Tea from Old Tea Trees (200 to 600 years old... wow... !!!), growing in the Vietnamese High Country (at least, +1,500 meters Altitude) too. One advantage Old Tea Trees have is their Very Deep TAP ROOTS, that go way down into the ground, and can access the needed Minerals and also Clear Clean Water down there, to make Great Tea Leaves. No telling how old these Northern Vietnam Old Tea Trees are (estimates are 200 to 600 years old), but they're Very Tall and Huge, so the Pickers have to Climb Up into them to do the Picking, risking their lives doing it (it's a Long Fall... ouch!!!). All the Leaf Harvesting can only be done Manually by Hand Picking. It's not possible to Machine Pick here. So you're talking a much smaller Harvest, which adds to the total cost. But, you're getting Super Premium Leafs out of an Old Tea Tree, who knows how old it is, Hundreds of Years Old, at least!!! And it's never been Contaminated by Human Muck'ing with, so it's truly an ORGANIC Product. Only what NATURE gives us. Growing at 1,600 meters (over 5,000' altitude) where it's very Cool Clean Air, lower Atmospheric Temperature, for slower Growing, to Concentrate the Good Things into the Tea Leaf, and add Clean Rainfall too. It's The BEST NATURE has to offer!!! They are correct. This does taste better than any Farm Raised Teas!! I say, "GO FOR IT!!!" 5-Stars!!! Experience THE BEST from Nature!!!
