This aftermarket product matches the form, fit, and function of the original equipment manufacturer's model. I see no discernible difference between the two products. I do notice, however, a lot of corrosion or other blemishes on this product. I wonder if it is indeed new or if it has some minor use.This product works fine in my wash machine. It installed as easily as removing my previous OEM valve with no issues. I have washed 5 loads of laundry with this valve installed and it works exactly as expected.I will edit my review if this valve does not last at least 3 years, which is how long the failed OEM valve lasted in my machine.

Thanks to YouTube for showing how to replace this part and to know that this part is the reason the fabric softener wasn’t dispensing. Such an inexpensive part and an easy install with basic tools. Likely saved hundreds by not having to call out an appliance repair person.
