I had to thin out my batter three times in hopes it would slide down to make a full waffle. I stayed on the recommended setting - 3.Made a mess and now the flavor of waffles are off.

Love the upright pour spout No batter mess that’s a biggie makes a great waffle the only thing is it says it will make 5 beeps when done mine doesn’t beep oh well

The easiest way to make waffles! The idea of pouring the batter into the top of the waffle iron is fabulous! I love the overflow catcher. You can pour the overflow batter back into the unit for your next waffle. Great quality and non-stick! Genius concept! Perfect waffles everytime an no mess!

I had a standing waffle iron for years until it started acting strange. I bought this new version and so far I am pleased with it. It does take up a little more countertop space than my previous one. It has an ingenious added spill cup at the top in case your batter spills over. I like it.

After getting used to the maker and getting the batter just right .. this makes Belgian waffles so good you don’t need any syrup … we had to get used to allow the batter to overflow some into the overflow cup .. once we got over that .. everything was fine.. we made the batter too thick at first and it only made half waffles so the trick is getting the batter thickness correct.. you plug in and turn on to warm up .. it will play some chimes to tell you it’s ready .. then after selecting your waffle selection on how brown you want it from 3-5 , it will again play chimes when it is done .. the vertical design virtually takes up very little space .. another benefit .. it is very sturdy and seems well made .. wife says it is easy to clean up …

Works great. Beautiful waffles and easy to use first use. Used Crustease pancake mix waffle recipe. Perfect. Easy clean.

While it did take a hot minute to figure it all out, now that i know to make my waffle batter very thin, I get the best lite and Crispy buckwheat waffles ever. I love it.
