There is no instruction on how high to mount the bracket! I used instructions from other sellers, that turned out not to apply to this product. I have to redrill new holes in my garage. The bottom of the bracket needs to be mounted at 7’9” from the ground in order to be reach maximally low, and hit 10 feet at its full height. But don’t take my word for it. Overall sturdy(?) but I wouldn’t recommend it.

I'm thrilled with my new wall mount basketball hoop! The quality is top-notch, and it feels like a professional-grade hoop. It still isn't up, but just in case somebody needs to know my measured height for the bottom of the bracket is 7'7" to have the max height at 10'. The bottom ledger locked just fine above the garage door, but I have nothing else on the other holes. Even with a steel plate, I'd require a 7" bolt to reinforce through the wall. It isn't hard to mount with the arms attached to the mount, but it might be easier to attach the mount and then put the thing together (it isn't light). 2 bolt holes lacked clearance and the rim springs required removal to attach the rim to the backboard. The mount seems well built, but the backboard plexy is a little flimsy (should be fine at the price). Can or person install it? Definitely. Should they? Probably not... It came with 6 large concrete anchors which are likely useful anywhere else in the world. Will update if necessary once finished.Update: it installed with a mild bit of modification. If you don't have little kids I'd hang it with it as far out as possible. My range is 7'5-10' with the original height. There is likely a bit more wiggle room if you are willing to move the jack portion. Definitely happy with the finished product. If Shaq shows up, I would definitely reinforce more...

I put together a lot of stuff and am fairly handy but this is terrible. It should have been a 20 minute job that took 1.5 hours and a lot of curse words!Backboard is flimsy and too thin but not bad.

The hoop is so heavy, when we tried to put it up on garage the wall started cracking endangering my kids that are already around. I went to refund it, but seller refused to cover the shipping costs. I checked with Amazon 4 times, they told me to ship it myself and they will refund me back and take the full responsibility. I have the screenshots of every conversation where the representatives confirmed that. But I did it they refused to give me any money back. Net-net. I lost 430 dollars on shipping this back and spent more than a month of my time trying to get my money back. No luck.

The basket is fantastic and i am pretty good at putting anything together but the directions for this basket are poor at the most. Its basic picture directions and that is all. The pictures are not that great. That being said it is a very sturdy basket set up. I have a whole high school basketball team playing on it and they are dunking and it stands up.

My grown son asked for a basketball to put up at his new house and this was the perfect choice. As far as I know, it was exactly what he wanted. I don’t know if it was assembled or easy to install….but it was easy to order and have delivered to his new house. He sent me videos of him playing basketball with a friend as the wives watched on.
