Purchased in order to do aqua therapy after spine surgery. Fits perfectly, has the appropriate amount of support and buoyancy to allow me to recover without worry.

I’ve never been a strong swimmer and, unaided, I sink like a stone. I tried this belt and right away I was “swimming laps” to the 9-foot end. It’s secure and not too obvious that I’m wearing it when I’m in the water. I was easily able to stay upright but when I wanted to swim the transition was very smooth. I’m so excited to start using the pool in an active way rather than just floating passively as I’ve always done. I wish I’d gotten this at the start of summer rather than the end!

I have used this belt 2 times it is on tight as you can get it and it still rides up the back. By the belt riding up the back it ripped my new suit. I feel this belt is not for water aerobics.

Very bulky to wear. This rides up on your waist so you have to keep pushing it down. Not good for lake swimming.

With back issues, I was unable to continue water aerobics. This belt keeps me totally buoyant as I run, stretch and do leg lifts in the pool without any impact. If someone is afraid of water, they can walk into the pool and continue until their feet do not touch. Once the size is adjusted, you simply clip the clasp like a seat belt around your waist. The front is 4 inches high and the back is 8 inches high. Plenty of back support. At 5'2" and 160 pounds the medium size is comfortable. I hope this helps with your decision.

This works great in deep water arobics class. I have back issues and this keeps me from hurting as badly as I do without it. It gives me the support I need and it keeps me very buoyant. The only thing I don't like is that I can't bring my hand weights close to my sides to do arm exercises because of the fit. But all in all it does what it's suppose to do and I would recommend it to all.

I had torn menisci in both knees and despite successful arthroscopy still my knee keeps me from many activities I used to be involved before. The problems are mostly muscle-related. Water exercises help a lot to keep me close to normal. However, I am not a good swimmer, but with the Trim Floatation belt I can spend up to one hour or more in the water without getting tired. It sits exactly on the waist and doesn’t slip during swim, quite soft so it doesn’t hurt. I highly recommend it to anybody who likes water exercises but is not well trained swimmer.
