First off… this pan is not 9 inches… it is 9.5 inches. So any recipe that asks for a 9 inch pan will turn out “thinner” than usual and may need adjustments in regards to time and temperature. You will also need a 10 inch parchment paper sheet, instead of a 9 inch sheet… and then fold or trim it to fit.Secondly, while the pan arrived… with both the rim and removable bottom individually wrapped in bubble pouches and then packaged in a thick cardboard box and then also inside a regular Amazon shipping box…. the rim ring has several scratches on it… which damaged the non-stick coating to the point of being able to see the metal underneath. My concern is that over time, this will flake off and create not only more loss of the non-stick feature, but it may also cause the coating to be in the food. And this is the 2nd pan that has this issue and will also have to be returned. (I though the first pan was just a fluke.)

Everything about it is great! It baked my crust beautifully. It released perfectly. I love that it's deep dish. My only problem is that the recipes I want to use it for call for an 8". I wish you sold an 8" so I don't have to try to adjust my recipes. I received this yesterday and baked my lemon squares last night. I didn't adjust the filling and because of the 9" pan, my filling was too thin.

It's a nice, fairly heavy pan. I've only used it once, but it worked well. You will need about a pie and a half's worth of filling, if not more. I used it for a double crusted fruit pie; but, I think it would be better used for a quiche or a cold filled pie (graham cracker crust, cream cheese and fresh fruit type fillings). It's a little pricey, but it is an unusual size and shape, so that's expected. Overall, satisfied with the pan.
