Typical Westin quality. I did replace the step surface plate with a rubber diamond plate. The hitch step is solid and will definitely protect the rear in the event someone might hit it.

The hitch was welded crocked so this item did not sit parallel to the bumper. Very light weight and the welds looker like a beginner.

Very nice step to A) have access to the bed without having to open the tailgate B) protection from inattentive drivers at a stop light. Only complaint is that it blocks 2 of my rear parking sensors, so I have those turned off, but I figured that was why it wasn't specifically rated for my truck. Just something to keep in mind. Would love to see a narrowed version of this that went between the sensors. Very happy with it anyways.
