This replacement part is designed to be used with select Whirlpool®, Kenmore® and Amana® dishwashers; check to see if your model number is compatible. We strongly recommend that you hire a qualified technician to safely install this part. Replacing this part will require advanced mechanical training. Specialized tools, complex testing and appliance calibration may be required. Also make sure you turn off the water supply under the sink. I used this item and the video from Repair clinic dot com to fix my Whirlpool dishwasher. Water was still running to it, but it just stayed at the bottom and wouldnt get sprayed through the arms. Replacing this part fixed it.This came with the short 90 degree bend rubber tube included, and attached with a factory-installed crimping band.It also comes with a crimping band for the other end of that tube. You will need a pair of nippers pliers to crimp it shut. Or you could get a different crimping band that screws tight, but I don't know how that compares on functionality.You will also need a T15 Torx screwdriver, a Phillips head, and a large flat head screwdriver for the install.It doesn't go to my review of the product, but 5 stars for the seller too, who shipped this out fast and got it - and a working dishwasher - almost a full week earlier than I could have gotten an expert to even come look at it.

This part is the same as the original pump that was in our dishwasher.

Was not easy to install, but did the job. Pump has been sounding a little off for a while and finally stopped.Just a tip with these dishwashers… if you have a weird problem with it look at the paperwork behind the kickplate and do a reset on it. My element wasn’t working, but there was nothing wrong with it… the washer is just flighty!
