Was easy to cut. In fact, I cut one piece two times to get it to fit and it was not tough to do. I used an outdoor seal to fill in the gaps between the post and the these trims. After it dried, it looks like to last many years.

This fit the bill for exactly what I was looking for. Easy to trim and put together. I was able to paint mine to match the posts. They really add a more complete look to my deck.

I used these around already-in-place finished 4x4 (3.5x3.5) posts. It took a bit of an effort to trim down to this size and they barely fit, but all in all it ended up OK. Since they rested on the patio cement, I had to caulk all around which added more to the job. It would be nice if there was a skirt available that had more height as well.

5 Stars from us! Perfect to have that finished look where we redid our 1878 front porch with maintenance free vinyl. The poles did not come with a flange so it did not have the look we wanted. The flanges went on in minutes and look fantastic. Most affordable price to!

This is just the ticket if you have put clad pvc around an existing 4" X 4" post. The pieces snap together (after trimming) and look great. One word of caution however is to be very careful of your trim cuts. The pre-scribed cut lines may not work, so re-measurement is strongly recommended. Also, this product has rounded inside corners which may have to be cut to square if your pvc clad has square ourside corners. Bottom line is that this is a 5 star product less one star for necessary adjustments in the cutting and fitting process.
