This would be 5 stars if it had better integration into the Tuya or Smart Things app. I tried setting it up in both apps-- and both were identical. Easy initial setup, but some bugs/quirks and some features missing.The GOOD:-Compact-- the station/receiver is small, but easy to read. You can mount it on a wall or it doesn't take up much counter or shelf space-Buttons- they come pre-paired and ready to use out of the box. They are lightweight and easy to push. There is also a light on the button that lets you know when you push it-App: For initial setup, the app is great. It found my Station easily and quickly. I also generally get a notification on my phone within a couple of seconds of the button being pressed, even if I'm not in the house and on the same wifi network-Volume: Even though it's little, the receiver/station is LOUD. The buttons make no noise (other than a click when pressed)-You can program a different chime to each button-- so without looking you can know button 2 or 5 was pressed, etc.The BAD:Most of this can all be attributed how the app handles this product, at least on my Android phone-No volume control: The screenshots in the manual show a volume level selection, but it's not present in either app. That means the base station is LOUD and stays LOUD. I put mine in the pantry-Limited Chime selection: Not only are there not a lot of chimes to choose from, but you can't add your own, the titles of the different sounds don't make sense (they're a random word and some numbers), and most of them are long. I don't need a 12 second piano chime every time someone presses the button. It might be more tolerable if I could turn down the volume-Notifications: I fumbled through the app trying to get it to send me notifications when the button was pressed. I don't know what I did, but it works great now-- though initially it seemed like I was going to have to pay for a plan. it was not intuitive to get it set up with my Android phone.Overall, if I could adjust the volume inthe app and there was a better selection of chimes (just give me a simple "ding" for a few choices!), this would be 4 or 5 stars. As is, it's reliable, works well, and does what I need to it-- but it's oh so close to being so much better.

This wireless SOS pager works well and performs as stated. I set this up in my older partents' house and put the help buttons in different rooms of the house and one by the garage door so it can be taken outside when doing yard work. The unit comes with the control center, a USB power cable, and six SOS transmitter pucks on lanyards. If you want to affix the SOS pucks in a permanent location they also include double sided foam pads. This unit works with either Tuya or Smartlife apps (they are essentially the same app) and is simple to set up. The control center pairs easily with the app and links up to 2.4 Wifi in order to send out assistance notifications. Pairing the transmitter pucks can either be done with the physical button on the back of the control unit or by pairing them with the App. Once paired they will show up as transmitter 1-6 and they can be customized for user name, location, ring sound, and a few other customizations. Of course for the transmitter to be effective they will have to be within transmission range of the control center but that shouldn't be an issue for most normal sized homes. When a SOS transmitter is pushed, the corresponding number on the control center flashes and it also plays a ring tone to alert anyone who hears it. In addition to playing an audible tone on the control center, it also sends an alarm and alert message to either Tuya or Smartlife app to notify you there is a problem. You can also change the setting on the control unit so that it does not make an audible alarm and scare people and simply send the SOS messages to phones with the app and shared unit. One person can set up this unit to the home's wifi with the app and then share an invite to other family members so that they can be of assistance when a problem should arise. All the others need to do is set up their own account on the app and then accept the share invite in order to get emergency alerts. The alerts are sent to any phone around the world with the app and shared device linked. This SOS paging device is perfect for older parents that continue to live independently, but may get in a situation where they need swift assistance for falls or other immediate needs. I'd suggest a planned monthly test of all the transmitter pucks to see if everything is functioning correctly since this unit is not a monitored device. The device works perfectly as stated, however I was not able to get the #6 puck to display on the app. I verified that #6 puck is paired and will send an alert through the app, however it can not be customized for sound, name, and location because it does not show up on the connected transmitter list. For this reason alone I deducted one star. I find that this is a great tool for caregivers and children of older parents to gain piece of mind and allow them to live a more independent life.

So I have been using a paging system that is RF only, and because of distances and obstructions the base would not always receive the signal. This was not acceptable so the search for another solution led to this product, and it has made all my worries go away. Additionally even if you are not near the base to hear the alarm or chime, it pings your phone, excellent.Your ONLY prerequisite here is your WiFi coverage should be decent wherever this system is in use. If you are on a larger campus make sure there's no dead spots where these might need to be activated, and if there are consider adding access points for your network, but that's going to be a pretty rare scenario for typical users of this system.Setup was very simple with the smartlife app which I am already familiar with. Then the paring of which buttons you want active is also effortless. And from then on everything just works.This is a great product, they did a very good job. I like it, I think you will also, I highly recommend!
