Hubby said it was a little short, but he wore a vest so it didn’t matter. Perfect for our celestial witches ball. Idk what size dress shirt he wears, but regular shirts, he’s a large. 5’9, 175lbs regular sized guy.

I work in the legal profession and picked up the “law” version of this novelty tie with the goal of seeing whether it would be suitable for giving as a holiday gift to friends and associates also in the profession. At first blush I though I had a winner but closer review convinced me otherwise. Don’t get me wrong, I myself would wear it as a conversation piece without a second thought but it feels too cheaply made to make it as even a budget gift.The tie is tagged as 100% polyester which is to be expected at this price point. Had to lightly iron the tie before first wearing to remove the wrinkles from shipping. Tied well and held a knot.I am a rather corpulent gent (20 inch neck, 56 inch waist) and, surprisingly, the tie is long enough to hang where it is supposed to (see photo). Many novelty ties cheat on length so that the only hang to about the middle of the chest on anyone except those of slim buildThe most disappointing aspect of the tie is that is not manufactured with died or pre-printed material. Instead, it would appear the tie is sewn out of plain white polyester material and then run through some sort of printing process (offset maybe?) to add the pattern. You can clearly see this in the photos of the back of the tie that show no back ground color or pattern below the surface material. This results in a rather two-dimensional, shiny finish that looks cheap both up close and from a distance. It is also not consistent with the photos used by the seller which suggest higher quality construction and the use of pre-dyed/thru-printed fabric is used in manufacturing. I will say though the pattern printing is crisp and distinct which is a plus.Overall, it will go into my collection of “fun” ties to make an appearance from time to time. Considering all the points noted above, both positive and negative, I would rate this as an average item. Not outright bad but nothing remarkable either. I ordered this because I collect holiday ties and wear them for that time of year, and this would make a good entry into the fourth of july section of my collection. This is purely a novelty of mine so I don't care much about quality; just that they look fun.The tie feels and looks cheap in person, so if you want a high quality tie then I would look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a fun little novelty item to wear to a family cookout or something then this will do just fine.

This is a perfectly good novelty tie. It is made of that shiny, glossy cheap fabric that a lot of novelty ties are made of, which means it shows wrinkles very easily (I had to steam mine after opening it), but the colors are true and the prints are clear, which is really what matters more in a novelty tie situation. It has a strip on the back to hold the short tie end, and it ties fine, so if you like a design and are ok with novelty quality, these are good.
