Not of great quality. Several of the passages were blocked from the manufacturing process. This will lead to premature failure. Spemd the extra money for a quality replacement

Doing 4 stars for now, since I just installed it, but will update after this season. Was a little hesitant with it being $105 with no reviews, so I'll be the first. I has always used the Midwest Hearth ceramic combuster, but of late, I only got a few years out of them before they fell apart. In the winter, I have a fire going 24/7 so we'll put it to the test.First impressions - It looks well built. It is a tad smaller than the Midwest one. Nothing crazy, we're talking 1/8 inch. You can kind of see it in the pictures. Do not think it will effect the proformance. If anything, it made it alot easier to install. The original was always a bear to get in and out.I will come back in the spring and do an update and post a new photo.
