Does not work as it should. It does not spin freely. Do not want n tour money spend the extra 10 bucks and get a name brand product. This is crap.

Our autistic grandson uses this for his music therapy class .., he smiles and laughs the entire time he’s playing!

The item looks nice however when I shake it, very little sound comes out of it. More of a rolling motion is needed to produce a louder sound but that is fatiguing for periods of time. I am returning this item unfortunately as I really wanted to like it.

Great little instrument for our children’s choir/music class. But Oder from someone else if you are in a hurry. Otherwise, I’m very pleased!

This is decent for the price and ok for students but if you want something a little more sturdy, I wouldn't get this one.

Pros: Cabasa looks OK and doesn't feel flimsy. Ok for non-percussionist as something to play around with.Cons: this cabasa is barely larger than a small from major manufacturers. Beads are too snug compared to brand name cabasas. Sound quality is only OK. Sound volume is way less than a medium brand name cabasa. The major problem overall is the Seller mis-representing this cabasa as a size medium when it is 1/2" in diameter smaller than the brand names. 1/2" doesn't sound like a lot but in diameter between 3 1/2 and 4" it is a lot.Actual measured size of cabasa I received: Top drum section incl end plates- 3 1/2" overall dia, 2 29/32 overall height (top fixing screw not included); Drum itself (where beads ride) - 3" drum dia , 2 1/8" drum height; 10 rows of metal beads; Handle- 4 1/4" in length; Overall height (top fixing screw not included)- 7 5/32"Average size of brand name cabasas: Top drum section incl end plates: Small 3 1/4", Medium 4", Large 5"; Overall height of drum and handle approx 7"
