Excellent building block toy with extra elements from the marbles. Although she left most of he building to me, my 3 year old daughter loved playing with the designs once built.

My 4 year old has been asking for a marble run so I decided to order this wooden one for her 5th birthday. She loves to build- blocks, magnetic tiles, mega blocks, if it can be built… she’s into it! I was excited to order this because it seems like the possibilities are endless!Once we opened it up to play we realized just how difficult this set actually is! We love a challenge around here, but I was hoping this would be something she could do on her own. While she is great at building, this set requires steady STEADY hands. The pieces have to line up perfectly or it will not work. While it was fun doing it together, like I said, I was looking for a set she could do on her own. With time this may happen, but in the mean time it will require adult assistance.Most of the blocks seem pretty sanded down, however there are quite a few where one side seems to be sanded, but the other isn’t. It almost gave me a splinter!I truly wish the wooden blocks stayed in place better. Once you use the run once, you have to readjust the pieces for you to do it again.It does come with a good sized book to show you ideas and how to build certain designs. This feature is nice.The pieces all fit into the containers I use to store our toys in for rotation!

I bought this for a gift for a 5 year old, as I have had no complaints I assume it was a big hit. I felt it was something that would last and be passed down as the years fly by.

This is a high quality wooden toy, which I love. This is excellent quality, an heirloom toy that can be kept and handed down by generation. It inspires creative play, and great value. I highly recommend. Good for ages 3+ once kids are no longer putting things in their mouths.
