Good looking and quality wood. Be prepared to do some filing to get them to clear the slide release and mag release. After adjustments and a little hammering (the screw holes are slightly off) them on they feel and look great.

So disappointing. They are gorgeous, especially on a black 1911. But the fit is horrible! It's not even close! I tried cutting them down and sanding because I so desperately wanted them to fit. They were the perfect gift for a friend which is why I took the chance despite other reviews stating the same problem. The reviews are right, they don't fit and they're not even close.

I have a Turkish 1911 (it's my first 1911 and I'm not able to spend $2,000 on a handgun right now) and these grips fit really well. They were slightly off in terms of where the screw holes are located, but honestly not by much. I was able to get them on and secure really easily.

These grips are magnificently beautiful but did not fit my Garsin 1911, it took 2 hours of gentle and careful work with drummel to realign the holes for the screws from the inside. Grips were too tall and definitely did not fit the ambidextrous thumb safety nor did it have the capability to adapt the right side safety lever extension. 2 hours of precarious work to make it work. Good idea to have at hand a set of screws with large head in case the holes are slightly largerโฆ although I put in the time to make it work, I would NOT buy it again.. to stressful. The carving machine spins at several thousand rpmโs and easily eats woodโฆ unless you are willing to throw the grips away, donโt try to make it fit..

They were definitely a bit too tall, and the bolt holes didn't line up. The right side holes only required a small amount (~.025") of filling. The left side would not allow the safety to be moved down and required a nearly ยผ" x ยพ" notch. The left side bolt holes also did not align. The pattern seems possibly to be hot stamped, but maybe it's engraved. I can recognize a pattern in the stippling from the pictures online and from side to side. There was a strong and odd odor, similar to burning plastic, maybe, when I first opened the packaging. Once fitted, I was actually quite pleased with them. Over the past 2 days, the smell has dissipated.

They are nicely made from quality hardwood and look just as advertised. They did fit, but not perfectly until I performed some precision file work which was easy enough. Now they fit exactly right at less than half the price of similar grips, very happy with this purchase.

These grip scales are amazing. Sharp detail and finished right.Screw holes are a little shallow on reset so you might have to go a little deeper with a drill bit, but other than that, the are amazing.Seller is also amazing.Sent the wrong scales, but quickly replaced with the correct ones. No hassles.Quick to respond to messages and very polite.

Unica cosa da far notare รจ che essendo prodotte per un arma vera e non a gas, l'articolo , per un corretto montaggio, necessita di una modifica nella parte interna per poter ricavare l'ingombro della bomboletta di gas che viene alloggiata nel calcio dell'arma. 5 minuti di dremell e tutto si risolve.
