Having something that can clamp at a distance like this is one of those tools that you almost never need, but when you do- simply nothing else will do. When you have to clamp toward the center of a workpiece, traditional clamps of all kinds won't do you much good. These clamp about as well and sturdy as the Kreg C-Clamps I have (which only go up to 12") and hold tension well.

Quite a long clamp; great for extended reach over panels or other surfaces where ordinary clamps won't work. Solid locking mechanism, doesn't feel loose or rough.

The 13" reach on this clamp is impressively long, and the 10" mouth allows you to clamp some impressive levels of thickness. This is the clamp that you have always needed, but was never included in your standard clamp sets. Including the handle, this clamp is about as long as your sleeve. It is easily adjusted by twisting the screw in the handle, and then you just squeeze the handle to clamp down on whatever piece you are working on. You can get it pretty tight, but you might have to work at it a bit.I find that because the grips are so small, it can be easy for wood to slip even when this is tight. But, with its long reach, it can be used for extra support for a longer piece of wood, or to clamp down on those hard to reach places. In short, it can be used along with other clamps for larger pieces of wood to get the right cuts and what not, or where you are gluing pieces of wood together, or holding them in place to get that screw in the right spot, this can work just fine.While I am impressed with the size, and usefulness of the clamp, it is yet to be determined how long this will last. The metal feels adequately sturdy, but it will need to stand the test of time. For now however, I can say that it is looking pretty good.

Woodworkers know you can never have too many clamps, but I can't tell you how many times I've needed a clamp specifically like this. The throat depth is amazing, making it incredibly versatile where standard pipe or F-style clamps can’t reach. The clamping force is solid, and while there’s a bit of “slop” and flex in the frame when it's clamped down, the jaws still hold strong for glue-ups and installing hardware. Great value overall, and it’s quickly become a go-to in my shop for those hard-to-reach applications.

The handle fits the hand nicely. I like the rubber covers for the handle for comfort. It has a nice 13 inch throat to reach deep into a wide piece of stock needing to be clamped. It also has a 7 inch opening for a range of thicknesses on which to operate. It like that it has a good weight and feel for what it is, not too heavy but strong enough to do the job. The clamp mechanism and quick release lever work exactly as expected.

Extremely versatile clamping tool. I've already used several times and found it much more adaptable thanmy large C-Clamps. I wish I would have bought these sooner.

they work good for tight spots, I haven't had them very long to really evaluate them. seem good though.

Used these to clamp some web filler in place to stiffen TJIs. Perfect for the job as they clamp quickly and easily on a ladder and have the necessary depth and reach to get around the bottom chord. Have also used as clamps for sawing where bar clamps wouldn't and the reach was necessary.Basically a good alternative to a deep throated C clamp much easier/quicker though not as strong.
