We are from Taiwan

loose leaf black tea

Xin Qing台灣高山茶

Taiwan produces many world-famous oolong teas. The reason why each oolong tea has a different name is because they are named after the place of origin, which also represents the height at which the oolong tea grows. Each oolong tea comes from a different altitude. The higher the altitude, the more difficult it is to plant. Because of the climate, the tea grows slowly and the tea leaves are more difficult to harvest, making the alpine oolong tea more precious, and the unique alpine climate here is also the key to the production of the world-famous oolong tea in Taiwan.

Tieguanyin, Dayuling, Oriental Beauty, Green Oolong, Black Oolong, Dongding Oolong, and Alishan Oolong are all representative oolong teas in Taiwan.

Oolong tea is my favorite tea, and this one is actually a top on cherry! Taste and aroma aroma absolutely fabulous: very smooth, texture is great. It definitely worth the price. I have tried so many oolong but this one definitely can compete with one of the best productions.

This tea is undrinkable. So bitter and disgusting. zero redeemable about this product. This is a non returnable item so trust me and just don’t buy it. Get some nice Twinings instead. A more trustworthy company with great tasting tea. They would never sell this garbage.

I have drank Republic of Tea for as long as I can remember. They stopped producing MILK OOLONG and DOUBLE MILK OOLONG. I have been on the hunt for a competitor that is somewhat close. Unfortunately this is not it. Very very mellow flavor and its off a little. The smell is off, taste is off. If your like me, just a heads up this is not the one.

My discovery of the Jin Xing cultivar and it's unique character has been exciting. I enjoy mixing my own teas as I make my cup, and this tea adds beautiful silky texture, organic sweetness, and more, to every cup (more like tumbler). This is going to get very expensive given how what mountain (and what side), elevation, season, and year, produces so many different flavors! And that's before factoring how the leaves are processed.

It's hard to find good quality milk oolong. This SMELLS great and tastes GOOD. It's not the "best" I've ever had. Republic of Tea recently stopped offering milk oolong, so I'm searching for another source. Smells beautiful, tastes earthy and a bit of sweetness, but doesn't have the "milk taste" that some others have. I still love it!

I didn't expect to get authentic Taiwanese tea in the states with reasonable price. So it's a pleasant surprise that it tastes smooth and pleasant. It comes with very nice packaging with well-processed tea leaves. I can directly brew them in a cup without worrying the leaf crumbles. Overall I'm pleased with the quality and will recommend it to anyone who is looking for decent oolong tea.

I've never tried Milk Oolong before, but one of my co-workers suggested it as I'm a tea enthusiast. Tastes delicious, creamy but with green tea undertones, and not artificial.Would definitely buy again.
