I had previously bought the XP Pen Artist Pro12, and this tablet is a massive upgrade (although the old one was great as well, and still works great)!Very portable, and feels great to use. There is drawing software with the tablet, though I only think they offer a trial for a couple months, then a subscription service. As for the tablet itself though, no complaints here. Works great, and the battery life is excellent.

I love this tablet. I got it with the intention of drawing and 3D sculpting. It works great for that purpose. Using Nomad Sculpt for sculpting and modeling works very smoothly. Drawing feel silky smooth on the matte screen. I would definitely purchase this product again.

This is such a versatile drawing tablet. It's kind of blowing my mind. I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the things I can do with it. Not even just drawing. The quality of the screen is excellent and you're able to watch movies and play games on it. I was even multitasking in clip studio while watching crave in the top corner. One thing that I thought would annoy me was the fact when I first started to draw on it, my hand was activating other controls as it touched the screen, but I found a setting inside the settings that allows you to turn off the hand touch and since then it's been an excellent drawing tablet. The latency is fantastic. There's no lagging or skipping, just an incredible tablet.

edit: 3 Month Update: Still very happy with this.If you are an artist who wants an excellent drawing experience, and doesn't need tilt or high-resolution textured brushes (see below), the value of this tablet is unbeatable. It is not perfect, but because drawing on it feels better than any other tablet I've used, I'm giving it 5 stars. Do note that if you intend on using this primarily as a entertainment device though, and drawing tablet second, this is not the right tablet for you.Pros:- The best drawing experience I've ever had on a tablet. I'm including comparing this to the iPad and Samsung tablets, both of which cost twice as much. Very light Initial Activation Force. Lines come out very consistently and how I expect each time. The textured surface + felt nibs feel fantastic, and the tablet does a great job of getting out of my way and letting me draw. For me this point alone was what made me pick this tablet over any of the others on the market. It just feels that good.- Screen is pretty good for an LCD with a matte texture on it. Colour range and accuracy is good. It looks grainy at first but you get used to it, and for me the primary purpose of this is to be an art tool, not a youtube machine.- Fully laminated screen- Compatible with some other XPpen pens in case you don't like the stylus it comes with- I've used XPpen products for years and I've typically been very impressed with their customer support (lifetime technical support)Cons:- CPU is a bit under-powered. It performs great for daily usage, and has no issues with sketching / drawing / line art, but if you try and do heavy multi-layer liquify, or high resolution textured brushes, this tablet will under-perform vs an iPad or Samsung. This is my biggest hesitation on the tablet, but you also get what you pay for here.- Related to the CPU I imagine, there's a fair bit of jank in the day-to-day stuff. Switching apps / scrolling etc isn't up to par with Samsung / Apple. If this device is mostly for work / drawing, it's totally fine. I can ignore the jank for the occasional times I use it as a web browser / video watcher etc. If you're drawing less than half of the time though, this will be a much bigger issue for you.- There seems to be a slight push towards green on some lighter colours, but I don't think it will affect 98% of people. Just double check colours on another screen every now and then if you are concerned.- Tilt is not supported on the tablet.- I'm concerned about how the screen texture will last after several years of use, since it's the actual screen and not a protector.- No magnetic attachment of the pen. Clips into the included case instead.- I had to calibrate the cursors position vs the stylus as it felt slightly off to me, however there is a global setting for this.Comparison VS iPad:Pro - Drawing feels much better on the XPpen. XPpen is much cheaper. Pen has a button on it. I prefer android over iOS.Con - iPad has a much better screen, much faster processor, and much better accessories ecosystemComparison VS Samsung:Pro - Drawing feels much better on the XPpen. XPpen is much cheaper. Initial Activation Force required on the Samsung is horrible if you draw lightly.Con - Samsung has a much better screen, much faster processor, and much better accessories ecosystemComparison VS Surface:Pro - Drawing feels much better on the XPpen. XPpen is much cheaper. Performance is as good or better on the XPpen vs surface's I've tried.Con - Surface has full windows if you prefer that

I'm impressed with the value of this drawing tablet! The tips were a little hard to find in the box but I'm super impressed with the quality of the pen. It feels nice on the screen, and I found that I like the finish of it better. Super responsive with the tiniest, nearly unnoticeable delay in drawing.I'm by no means an expert with drawing tablets, but this is the best one I've used by far and I would recommend it to others.

I’m not much of artist but I have enjoyed using this tablet. It looks and feels well built, and the pen feels very responsive.Battery life has been fine for my needs, I’ve spent many days just doodling with it, and watching movies on it. And it has been a very enjoyable experience. If your a person with an artistic side I can easily recommend this tablet. I should also mention that it comes preinstalled with some drawing applications that make it easy to up and drawing shortly after unboxing.

Although I ended up returning this, it is a very impressive device. The quality of the build is exceptional, the materials likewise, and the O/S smooth and performative. No complaints at all actually, but I was actually looking for an e-ink tablet, and this wasn't it.I can still recommend it if you are looking for a high end tablet, particularly if you are creative. I think it better than an iPad at like a quarter of the price.

This is almost as big as the 12.9"/13" IPad Pro, but it's android. The screen is amazing, the build quality is amazing, and I will likely get another one because i returned the one I bought because I needed the money more (stupid economy). Once I can afford it, I will get it and I will eat dry bread and water before I return it.the user experience was fantastic - I use it for digital art (clip studio paint, concepts mostly), and the pen is great, the screen is bright and clear, the response time is fantastic. I do wish that Android supported Zbrush (like Zbrush for iPad), and Procreate, and more Adobe products, because if it did it would be absolutely perfect - for me - and that's because i'm used to using Adobe products and being able to use the fuller versions on Android would be amazing.lovely piece of equipment, great value, highly recommended . Don't do what I did, keep it if you get it, you will regret returning it.

I've been using this tablet for about a month. Had I reviewed this earlier, I would have likely given it a star less. While it was snappy, it tended to lag a bit, and had an app pre-installed that wouldn't work with the installed version of android. That all changed about a week ago with an update. The performance improved remarkably, the app issues are gone, and there have been some new features added to the custom Android OS. As of now, I have zero complaints, and this has become my go-to tablet. It gives an impression of a high quality tablet with obviously premium construction. As a drawing tool, it excels far beyond your typical tablet, as you'd expect for a device targeting artists. The 16k levels of pressure makes a huge difference. It really excels as a premium artist tool. It currently doesn't support stylus tilt, but even so, its a pleasure to work with. Its biggest strength is the matte display. Its simply gorgeous, has no glare, and offers a tactile feel that really feels organic. That is also the thing that makes it a great tablet for every day use too. As an e-reader, this thing is amazing. I've starting using it exclusively for daily reading, as it has such a natural looking screen. I just love it. Highly recommended.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this tablet. I'm not a spectacular artist by any means, but I do enjoy technical drawing and astrophotography and things of that nature and I've always WANTED to be a better artist in the sense of free hand drawing. So I've been eyeing up these drawing tablets for years and finally pulled the trigger on this one.I wasn't sure, since it wasn't a brand I recognized, if it might be a little laggy or feel like it had some downfalls or cheap aspects, but I have to say it's actually quite snappy. And I really love the battery free stylus. I've had rechargeable stylus' on some other tablets that weren't explicitly drawing tablets and I felt like I would use them so infrequently that it was never charged when I needed it meaning I always had to wait to charge it a little while before I could use it when I did.The pressure sensitivity range of 16k shows through with the firmness of my drawing and shows up smoothly on the tablet exactly as I would want giving me the satisfaction that I won't have to change how I would normally draw just to make it turn out the way I imagine it. It comes with a few apps for note taking and drawing, one of which includes graph/dotted/lined paper which I appreciate for when I want to do some technical drawing. But I can see that there's going to be quite a learning curve to learn all the different brushes and features etc, especially if I decide to buy some of the addons. But on top of all that, the display itself is really quite nice and far nicer than I was anticipating. I almost want to use it as my primary tablet, but I fear potentially of bogging it down with all of my astrophotography etc apps and ruining the beautiful drawing experience.I wasn't sure if I'd like the matte feel to the display, but I quickly got used to it and also realized I do sort of hate the super slick surfaces of some phones that make it hard to even press your finger to one point without it sliding off because it's so slick.Another nice touch was the inclusion of a case with a slot to snap the pencil on the back. The slot also serves to prop the drawing pad up at a slight angle when placed on a tabletop etc. While I might have preferred it magnetically attached to the edge or even could be inserted like a Samsung Galaxy phone's tablet, I'm sure that would have made it significantly more expensive so I can appreciate the compromise.I don't have any hands on experience using an iPad for drawing, as at least one of my artistic friend's really loves to do, so I can't say how it compares to that. But, I'm really enjoying the tablet and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
