One of my old wheels straps broke in freezing weather as the plastic became fragile and zi thought I never would find a replacement. This strap was an exact replacement and so simple to replace.

It's a Yakima strap! Neat. It's very stiff/straight, but I imagine it will form over time in the outdoors. Replacement for a rack I bought used.

An EXACT replica, in form and function, of the original. Amazing how it holds tight to my rear wheel (the most important of the bicycle wheels). Like a baby chimpanzee nursing from its mother...it holds on snuggly until you are done. I LOVE my replacement part! 5.5 Stars!

I would give this 5 stars except that it is way too long. It is just like the old one (only without the worn teeth). I'll need to figure a way to shorten it (with a finished edge) before it scratches the paint on the car.

These are a perfect replacement for the Yakima bicycle roof racks of this type; the type where if you don't click the strap back around after taking down your bike it's going to get left on the highway somewhere... Great price and great quality product (I assume it's OEM).For what it's worth I'm going to try and fashion some type of "stop" to keep the strap from falling out next time I forget to fasten it. I'm thinking a clip of some sort, or zip tie, just above the base where it slips into the roof rack body should do the trick.
