Your cart is empty.Candle mold sealer is a special reUSAble putty that plugs up wick holes. after you thread the wick through the hole at the bottom of the mold, put a little sealer over the hole to prevent wax seepage while the candle cools and sets up.

I bought the same Yaley Mold Sealer at my local Michael's years ago. It was dried out and hard as a rock. This product is fresh and flexible.

I use this on the bottom of my candle molds for pillar candles, they have holes in the bottom for the wick to run through. It's job is to prevent leaks and it works just fine. It doesn't matter what size the hole is for the wick, this is what you need, use as much as you need to. Nobody wants a big wax leak mess..

This is your ordinary candle mold sealer. It works well, and as long as you make a tight seal you don't even need the wick screw. I tend to reuse the mold sealer for several candles to save money, and it works almost as well as the first as long as you keep it sealed in a bag so it doesn't desiccate (dry out). I will most likely be buying this product every time I need mold sealer. I am a first time home candle maker, mostly to recycle wax that I have accumulated from used candles because store bought candles are quite expensive. The candles came out perfectly, and this mold sealer was an integral player!

I love this product. I use it to seal up my molds to prevent the hot wax from seeping out from around the wick after pouring it. I do not use the screws that come with the molds due to it tearing up the cloth wicks, so I use the putty. It is great. I just have to let the wax cool a just a bit longer than normal to prevent the metal molds from heating up to much to cause the putty to melt away from the mold. I have never had a problem with this product.
