One of the three timers doesn't work at leaks through and there's no way I can return for this is out of stock and the vendor won't take any action or clear the ability to return it

Use this to automate timer for my backyard garden hose. Only issue is wish it's could stay on longer than 240 mins.

The hardware appears to be fairly solid.I think the instructions were translated from Chinese & were really tough to understand. In fact, the instruction sheet was about useless. Although I think (I think) I figured it out, I'd probably opt for a different brand/model.

I asked a question about zigbee standards compliance since I’d run into other products claiming to be zigbee, but required a specific hub to work at all. I didn’t get an answer so I risked it and I’m happy to say this is standard zigbee compliant and doesn’t require the included hub if you already have a zigbee coordinator. Zigbee2mqtt is able to load it and expose the necessary things. In fact, it seems far simpler than the previous valve I got that was discontinued, which I see as a bonus. I might replace it with another one of these! Thanks to working with zigbee2mqtt, it works fine in Home Assistant and will integrate well into my current smart home topology.

I use a couple of these in a home automation system to water our gardens and flower pots. Use is fairly simple. The only issue I have found is that sometimes the valve position isn't always true. You will give it an open command, and it will say it opened, but it won't actually be. Same issue with closing (which flooded my garden once). So, to get around this, I had to add some programming that sends the open/close commands more than once. That seems to have resolved the issue.

Doesn't work with home assistant out of the box. I was able to get it paired but couldn't actually get any controls. Maybe someone more versed with the zigbee standard could manually setup the clusters/bindings to make it work but I don't feel like figuring that out.

Unfortunately I can’t connect this item because the ZIGBEE adaptor requires an (independent) 2.4gHz wireless network and my modem “blends” the 2.4gHz and 5gHz streams by using the same IP address. The seller does state that this works with 2.4gHz on the listing (which my router normally supports, of course), but I didn’t know about my specific modem/router “blending the bands” until trying to set this up.My wife has a very important job and works from home and neither of us want to mess with changing all the router settings to separate the bands. We also have a very connected house with LOTS of wireless connectivity that is all working perfectly, and I’m hesitant to throw any wrench into the router settings. So, just a bit of a caution about knowing your WiFi setup and possibly needing an INDEPENDENT 2.4gHz band.Ironically, it otherwise seems to be a nice setup. I don’t want to trash the product because of MY router setting issues.I know that part isn’t helpful, but I hope the WiFi warning might be.
