I use these for my daypack while traveling on public transportation. Where I live, there are quite a few thieves, and padlocks are a little over the top, so these are a good alternative as they are discreet, but effective.

I've had these for 8 years now, and they're still working! They are a nice, slim size with a very thin string, so they are very comfortable if you use them on clothing, like a jacket. I also use them on a backpack. They get a lot of use, and they are all still working.

The pouches on my backpack did not have metal zipper pull tabs, but only a small piece of cord slide through the loop on the slider head. This was done to make the pouches lightweight. Over time, however, the cords wore out and I was left using my fingers to open & close the pouch via moving the slider head. Once back home, I purchased these for the repair.The cord on these was too thick to fit through the slider head, so I purchased some 6mm split rings and threaded those into the slider head. Then it was super easy to tie these on to those split rings. The zippers work perfectly without effort. These seem quite durable and should get some good use. (If they break quickly, I still have 8 left before I need to buy a different kind.)These are comfortable to hold/use. Great value purchase for my needs.
