Making taiyaki was very easy! I filled them with Nutella which tasted delicious! I’ll definitely have to try custard or red bean paste next.2 minutes on each side on medium heat, and they look ✨perfect!✨ 👍 They turned out so cute 🥰 🐟I think the price was very reasonable, would definitely buy again! Can’t wait to make more!💜

Sure it’s easy to clean, but for a professional chef such as myself, it heats too unevenly, at least I got it on sale

Good quality, not sticking, easy to use.I used it for the first time ever and absolutely loved it, used the recipe but only I put the apple sauce instead red bean paste, my family love it.

I love making Japanese food, as authentically as possible. My partner has wanted me to make Taiyaki for a long time so I started by finding a Taiyaki mold that wasn't too pricey... yeah, I'm cheap. Besides, I didn't want to invest a fortune into something I'd never had and didn't even know if either she or I would like them.I admit, I was surprised at the quality of the Zoofox Taiyaki pan. It is heaver than I expected, for an aluminum pan. The build quality is very high quality. It doesn't feel like a cheap knockoff product. I can easily see it lasting for years in our kitchen!The only thing I really needed to get used to was controlling the heat level and the timing, but that is the same with any kind of cooking, whether it is Tiayaki, waffles or pancakes.Oh, and we both loved the Tiakai!

The serving size is actually pretty big for two. I recreated some amazing desserts with it. It’s good for the price. The handle is rather cheap and the heat doesn’t seem to retain well and even around the pan. But it’s amazing for the price.

My four-year-old has been obsessed with taiyaki from Somisomi, but it does get prciey when I’m spending $10+ a couple times a week. This pan is reasonably priced and really good quality. It makes perfectly toasty taiyaki, and as you can see from this picture, the kid can’t take their hands off of them.I made the Taro homemade using 2 LB of taro root, one can of sweetened condensed milk, one can of evaporated milk, some salt and vanilla extract. If you can add a little bit of milk, if you want it less thick. I freeze this in a Ziploc bag and last me six months!I found a really great taiyaki recipe online, the trick is to use tapioca flour in combination with all purpose flour. Google “Mochi Taiyaki Waffles” to get the recipe below!1 cup all-purpose flour1 cup Mochiko flour (or tapioca flour)2 tablespoons sugar3 teaspoons baking powder1/4 teaspoon salt1 3/4 cups whole milk2 eggs1 teaspoon vanilla

My 14-year-old niece is obsessed with anime and made me find her a taiyaki restaurant but unfortunately, the closest one is over two hours away, so this has made it so much easier and more fun!We get to experiment with flavors and batters!
