We had some old potholders/hot mats that were just wearing out and getting way too thin. These new ones are just awesome. The reflective backing works well, they are thick / solid and well made. We are very pleased. It might seem dumb but we had read a lot of reviews trying to find some nice thick hot mats. Because when you can't handle them (cause you are buying online) you can't know how thick they actually are. But just know these are probably exactly what you are looking for. Good thickness and work great. I'm writing this review after just using one to carry a hot pan to the table and with our old ones by the time you get there it would be getting pretty hot but these there was no problem. I thought to myself, I should write a review and let people know these work well.

Finally! I've been looking for potholders that aren't huge, are flexible & protect my hands. These are perfect. The heat resistant side really works. The beige is a nice color. Very pleased!

These do exactly what they are supposed to do. They feel nice and thick, so I'm hoping they'll last a long time and it's a 6 pack, so pretty great for the price! This type of hot pad is hard to find these days. I may just get another set for a back up! Love them and love the olive green color, very dark. :)
