We are currently renting so didn’t want to put any screws or nails anywhere to hang cameras outside, and these work great! We live in the country in the middle of nowhere, so it’s extra windy at times, and they’re durable and work great! Also super easy to install with no damage to the siding at all!

These were simple and worked great for my Blink cameras. It was a big benefit to NOT have to drill through my siding. They have good holding power and the price is right.

I recently purchased two outdoor solar lights (https://www.amazon.com/Westinghouse-130°Wide-Security-Install-Resistant/dp/B07N8Q96KH/ref=sr_1_22?dchild=1&keywords=westinghouse&qid=1595454707&sr=8-22) and needed a way to install them on my house without drilling into our brand new siding. After a short search I came across these clips. They are rather ingenious and fit the bill perfectly, with a slight modification. The curve of the clip from the bag is too rounded to really grab on to the underside of the siding with any confidence that it will hold anything. I put a few up in the siding and they slid out almost immediately with little effort. The nice thing is they were quite cheap and you get a good amount in the bag so I thought I'd grab a pair of vice grips and see if bending them had any affect.Indeed, modifying did help. A lot. I actually used a pair of vice grips to grip the tiny lip at the end of the clip and a pair of pliers to do the bending. Once done it was definitely harder to get the clip in the siding gap but therefor quite a bit harder for it to come out. In fact, I gave a tug on the now modified clip and that sucker stayed in no matter what! It stayed in as in if I kept pulling with straight downward force I think it would pull the siding out. To take the clip out you just have to remove it with an outward curving motion, the same as slipping it into the gap.If you look at the pictures I uploaded you can see the two side-by-side products; modified and unmodified. I modified the rest of the clips and went about installing those solar lights and partnering solar panels. The light itself is about three pounds and these clips hold them like glue to the house now!Again, if you're okay doing a bit of slight modifying of these clips then these work fantastic! If you aren't then they may not work for you. That is the ONLY reason I'm giving 4 stars; because they aren't 100% right out of the box. Or, rather, bag.

Ok, first of all, these said they would take over a week to arrive, but they were here in less than two days! Bonus!I bought these on a whim that they might be a decent solution for a project that I had. I have two outdoor security cameras. Not cheap ones, either. So I wanted to make sure they were well installed on the front and side of my house. But obviously I don't want to drill into my siding if not necessary, either...I don't want to make a mistake, or end up taking down these particular cameras someday and leaving holes in the siding where rain water can get in. So for somewhere around $12, these were at least worth a shot, right? So I pull two out of the pack and they look simple enough. I take the screws out of them and slide them through the back end of my camera mounts. What freaking luck, they are a dead on size match! So then I take the camera outside, climb up on the ladder, and attempt to slide it (with two of these hooks) under the siding. It literally took about 5 seconds until they were attached to the siding! I'm not sure about the sturdiness or how they'll hold up in a heavy wind...I could feel some pull and one slid out once. But that might be my siding - it could be somewhat "loose." I can't say and won't know for certain until a big wind or storm comes through. Also, I'm not sure that they're meant to hold something as heavy as these particular cameras PLUS the camera mounts.I put the other camera onto its mount and the mount onto these clips and installed it all in the siding on the front of my house, and it seems to work perfectly, too!For $12 or so, these are definitely worth a shot for your project, and to avoid putting unnecessary holes in your siding, if possible! Especially if whatever they're holding isn't too heavy!

I bought these in order to hang my new Reolink Outdoor Security Cams. Instead of making holes and damaging my sidings with screws and what not, I heard about these clips and decided to go for it, as they were inexpensive and had good reviews.DEPENDING on what sidings you have, these will work great and do the job! I have read some negative reviews about these clips, and I don't know these individuals' situation. All I know is it's working for me. The clips are non-rust and are sturdy, they will not damage your sidings if clipped in the sidings carefully. They can hold a lot of weight and once you clip them in, they give you resistance if trying to get them out, which is good because if you're hanging an outdoor camera, it will not fall off. Before installing I must mention that I used pliers to kind of bend in more the angle of the clips to add more clipping power... (a technique I saw from some folks who have had great results from this)! I do recommend them...give them a try!****UPDATE****They are still going strong, and I have had some Strong and Insane winds rocking my windows, but my hooks are holding up my cameras great! ....Not even a flinch!

I wish I knew this product existed before I bored a hole to my vinyl cladding. Works perfectly. In addition, it is kind of sweet for the seller to leave a personal card thanking me for the purchase.

I am impressed at how well these work. The weight rating is better than advertised. it's been 2 years now and they are still solid. If I ever need more. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

I bought these to "trap" antenna and feed wire ... I thought these would keep wire neatly secured in windy areas... the other style hooks work fine for down loads... easy to install or remove...

These are AMAZING! I bought solar lights for the outside of my house but wasn't super keen on screwing the lights into the vinyl siding on my house. Enter this little gadget. It took about 1/3 of the time it would've to screw the lights into the vinyl, no damage to my siding and the lights sit securely against the siding with no wiggle room. Awesome product, 10/10 recommend.
