My monitor started loop rebooting until warm, each day it would take longer to stabilize. had no idea what it was until I found a reddit post describing the exact problem to the T. Luckily the issue was the original ASUS PSU, which I found out by blasting the PSU with a hair drier to warm it up (If you do this, know that it does not fix the problem right away, rather after you heat the PSU box and stop it will take a bit for it revive but it will). After that I order this replacement and I no longer need to heat the PSU box each morning.One thing to note: the tip of the connector on this replacement is yellow, unlike the original which is black, I perceive that the original black tip is slightly thinner than the replacement, but the replacement does fit properly, not too loose, not too tight. I hope this lasts longer than the ~4 years the original lasted.

Honestly just plugged it in and boom my monitor turned on with no issues! Used on a vg279 asys tuf monitor with g sync and everything worked perfectly!
