Waste of time to install. Check valve uses a piece of foam as a return spring. Foam washes out of position with water flow then creates a restriction in water line. Wasted time flushing pipes to remove foam. May work on air, but I don't think it would seal well enough in reverse flow. I would not recommend for any use. I would leave no stars if it were possible.
