This snap assembly is absolute CRAP! It is almost impossible to. I guarantee you will waste at least four before you realize the instructions they included are garbage. You will need to figure out a way to cut the post so it will fold down like pealing a banana instead of collapsing. I suggest a sharp fine nose cutter or a sharp utility knife. Then you will need to use a nail set or something similar to spread the post. I doubt this snap will last because the metal is the gage of aluminum foil. Surely there is a better snap available somewhere!

They work. I didn’t have a grommet tool so some didn’t go on perfectly but they work.

I am convinced the set I got came with the wrong sized tools. For one thing, the pictures on the box are so small and blurry that one can't tell which is which, but I have used another set of different snaps. The tools for this set are identical to the set I have, though the set I have are for different snaps of a different size. The tools that came with this set don't work. So now I have to drive 25 miles to return the garbage.

They do what they are supposed to do, the hole punch will NOT punch through nylon strap. I had to use a razor knife.
