They work however, #1 - it allows a thin level of water to remain around the rim of the stopper due to the thickness of the metal rim. #2 when attempting to remove the stopper from the drain to inspect the basket for debris, the basket and washer tend to disconneect from the upper portion and get stuck in the drain pipe requiring you to fish it out with needle nose pliers.

I really had hopes for this as I have a bad drain that my landlord will not fix. I thought this would be the answer but it just does not work as promised. I have to literally pull it out completely to get the water to drain out of the sink. Or the top part just comes off. I am sorry, but this does not work the way it should for me.

These are definitely a great idea for a product .. but the shaft that inserts into the drain is too long and won’t fit in either one of my bathroom sinks ..

This the quality of this drain is made w/better materials than the drain in my new sink hardware. It seems sturdy and will definitely do the job intended. The ONLY draw back is the opening is small. But who cares ? Very nice genius idea

It wasn’t my first choice to use something like this but it does the trick. Time will tell if it holds up or tarnishes but for now I have a sink I can stopper that I couldn't stopper before.

I replaced my faucet and got the new ootion with the pop up drain. Unfortunately the sink has been here so long it will take some time to use the factory drain. I got these to use until I find time to install other.
