*Minium volatge 750mV but it should be heated under at least 700°C condition and raise step by step to the volatge

Working Instructions:
1. Keep the thermopile heated in the 1/3 of the head location, Don't heat the back place to heater brass sleeve.
2 Because of High Resistance inside, The thermopile need around 1-2 minutes to be heated and increase to at least 750mV ( our reset voltage is around 800-900mV)
3.Do not take it off untill you heated it around 2 minutes
4.Do not bend the fireplace thermopile too hard on the crimped part and inside wires or it may cause short circuit and low voltage problem

After doing some extensive troubleshooting, I determined the most likely reason my fireplace was shutting off after just a few min of being on was an old thermopile. The fireplace is 25 years old or so but I took some quick measurements and hoped this would work. It fit great and has solved all of the problems, the fireplace has been reliable ever since.Installation was easy but took just a few mins to be careful and thorough. It came with some connections that didn't work for my needs so I clipped them off and crimped the right electrical connectors on. Spent a few more minutes cleaning what I could reach and carefullh reassembling the parts I removed to do the installation and all was well again.Cheap solution to what would have been a very expensive fireplace repair. Definitely recommend.

Replaced a bad thermopile in my Superior fireplace. Getting to it was the hardest problem. Works fine after I got everything back together. Needed at least 350 mv. It measured 550 mv.
