Its good and I am able to easily remove staples. However, I only need one, but was sold two as a pair. This strategy to sell two is unethical.

The tool was sturdy and thick. We got the upholstery staples out quickly. I'm glad I didn't spend more money on one because even though it was very inexpensive the quality was great.

Bought these for my mom to pull staples from an old oak floor of a house she bought. She said they work great, but has already broken one on day 1. She's in her 60's, and I'm sure it's putting a lot less force on them than many others might. Hopefully the 2nd one last long enough to finish the job.

I tried a few options here, and this one was by far the best. Immediately works and held up through an entire office chair's worth of staples. I am redoing the foam in an office chair, and there are tons of small staples on the upholstery. This tool easily pries them out. Both sides can be used. Does not require great strength, but you will still have to work at them and be coordinated.I think it's pretty safe on most materials, but of course if you are taking staples out of something that cannot be damaged at all, make sure you know what you are doing. Otherwise, I have nothing but praise for this thing. Able to grip and pull the tightest staples.

This is a game changer. I have traditionally used screwdrivers and needle nose pliers all my life to pull staples. Using this tool is so much easier and faster. It changed my opinion on removing upholstery from “No way on earth” to “Totally doable”.

I had been using a flat head screwdriver to remove 9/16” staples in my Tuck & Roll sewing installation. I have a lot of tear out and repair. I am able to work the claw under the staple and with wrist control lift both sides out of the dense plywood. It is very sturdy for these 55 year old staple removals.I have become quite skilled at working with this tool I love it!

I had to pull out tiny staples from a flight of basement stairs after the carpet was removed, this tool made quick work of it, took around 2 hours to remove a few hundred staples from dense wood. It would have likely taken a few days with the old pry and pull with pliers route, and likely have left me very sore hands. This was so easy and hands felt fine afterwards.Very sturdy through out the job, the second one will likely be a gift .

Worked great removing medium to large nails and staples, but could not grip real small ones. Well worth the price.
