Now we finally have some adjustable pliers for the house. These are about the quality of the cheapish all in one home tool sets you can get in a plastic box for $30 or $40, the kind that are often marketed to new homeowners or women, people who only need a tool occasionally. It’s the quality I expected and works fine for our purposes. The tool boxes are up in the barn, which is a bit of a hike, especially in the winter, and I think we had one little (literally) slip joint pliers in a boxed tool set for the house. These are just the ticket for when we have a plumbing emergency or need to loosen something on a vehicle but don’t want to go in search of the exact proper tool. They’re not upper end tools, but they’re good enough to get the job done.

If you're looking for a set of top quality pliers, this is not for you. If you're looking for some low-priced pliers that will do the job for the home or casual user, then they're worth a look.
