These things are trash. Save your time and money and use the mini sprinkler heads that connect to 1/4" hoses. These things are very inconsistent. Some drip as they should, others don't drip at all, and still others spew water out all over the place.

I admit I had doubts when I ordered these but soon found out they work great. I used these in combination with pressure compensating 1 GPH drip heads using a 2-3” piece of tubing between the drip head and these stakes. No more crappy stakes that won’t stay clipped to the tubes.

La grosseur ne fonctionnait pas avec la dimension du tuyau d'un kit standars. J'ai dû les retourner.

I added these to my watering system on my porch to drip water them reducing collateral spray on the deck. Worked well.

Of course they dont tell you this but you can just hook these up to your drip system. You must go from the half inch feed to a flow restrictor like a drip emitter THEN to the stake. Otherwise, the water shoots out over the container and onto the floor. If you need an emitter for the stakes to work, one should be built into the stake or included in the package. And if your going to use an emitter, just forget the stake and lay the emitter in the pot.

This item works as the driper and the stake. Simply attach your 1/4" drip line and the water channels down where you put it. I have 4 in each pot. 1 on each side if that makes since. They hydrate the coco very well. I think this works way better than hydro halo or water rings.

If you try to use these emitters without flow restriction, they'll simply shoot right out of the top of the connection and you won't get a drip. You need to use a flow restrictor connector in conjunction with these otherwise it's almost like having no attachment on the end. The design is also misleading. I was under the assumption this would be cylindrical with reservoirs for the water to permeate out- however, they'd work with the addition of the floor restrictor. I removed and used the regular red capped emitters for my modest home garden set up. They're 1/4 the price and grt the job done.
