Much cheaper price than OEM Toro

Fast deliver and fair price. This worked perfectly for my old Toro Power Clear 210R that needed a replacement. It was a very simple install, but this could have been due to having my machine apart to repair other items.

These were designed to be a one-way install. Getting the old one out without ruining it is not a sure bet. So the real question is not whether someone on YouTube can get the old base out without ruining it, the question is can you? And if you ruin it, you will have it apart while waiting for one of these to be delivered, which you should have done in the first place. You chances of success are directly related to how wide open the area is around the plastic tabs to release them because the cut out is not much bigger than the tabs themselves. I can tell you that if it's a snow blower, it is an awkward, confined area where getting a good angle to compress the tabs is impossible unless you take the entire snow blower completely apart because the metal these snap into is the main metal structure. With these, you can get the old one out any way you want to because you don't need to be concerned with the old one. What about the existing hose? If it's still good, use it. If not, you have a new one that comes with these. For those who have never done one of these:- Theory: "I'll just peel off the old rubber and put the new on and leave the base where it is." NOT! The problem with that theory is rubber of the primer bulb wraps around and is compressed between the plastic primer bulb base and the steel structure. Even with the new one assembled, you need to push down with considerable pressure above the tab points to get them to compress the rubber enough to enable the tabs to snap into place under the metal structure.- Theory: "At least once I get the old one out, it will be easy. Just put the new rubber primer bulb on it and reassemble." NOT! There is a YouTube video for that too, such as dunking the rubber into hot water to try to get it to stretch over the plastic base without ruining it. Now you have water, and the tube that connects to the bottom of it leads to the carburetor."I don't trust the quality of it since it is not OEM." That's a valid concern and impossible to evaluate. Your original primer bulb got harder and harder over time so what it was when you replaced it is not what it was when it was new. As thin and soft as the new ones are, doesn't mean the old one when it was new wasn't the same. Because the bases are the same, the rubber couldn't have been thicker because the primer bulb wraps around and is compressed between the plastic primer bulb base and the steel structure. Will it last as long? No clue, and if it doesn't? You paid less for it, took less time to replace, and in the kit includes everything you need in case there are any surprises, like a bad hose.

I bought this primer kit, because my old one on my Toro CCR 2450 fell apart. It was simple to install, the primer squirts fuel into the carb and boom it starts up. This was cheaper then the local stores, the quality seems decent, the size fits perfect.
