I have tried several different kinds of mats for my birds and this one is by far the favorite of my birds and myself. It has enough weight to stay put, it is very soft, easy to clean, and comes in the perfect size. I will be ordering more for my future nesting boxes.

I like it because it's easier to keep clear and cooler on the chickens. The chickens have mixed feelings though

I had tried the mats made of shredded material, but they were hard to clean, light enough the girls kicked them out of nests then shredded them. These are soft but heavy enough they stay in place. Super easy to clean with a water hose. The girls love them, I love them. Win Win!
