The original silverware rack for the Kenmore dishwasher was breaking into pieces, after 15 years of use. This new one fits perfectly and the material is more sturdy/strong. Now hopefully the dishwasher will last another 15 years!

My old basket was getting holes in the bottom and dealing with silverware going through was a pain. It's so nice to have a brand new basket again!

This replaced a nearly 20 year old flatware basket whose bottom was coming apart. I replaced the dishwasher a few years ago but kept the basket because the one with the new dishwasher was a long, continuous unit.Being able to separate the end compartments is extremely handy - for example, when I have more dinner/dessert dishes and less flatware, so need the room.Appears to be sturdy and the same model as the original, except is a dark grey instead of beige-grey. I didn't mind because the darker grey matches the tines and racks in my current dishwasher. I've only had it for a few days & 2 cycles, but am very happy so far.

Our silverware basket simply wore out due to holes in the bottom of the basket. A quick look on Amazon solved our problem. The new silverware basket arrived a day after ordering (amazing actually) and fit just like the original one. I emphasized the quick delivery. How in the world does Amazon's technology locate and then process the shipment in such a quick period of time. If you need a new silverware basket for your dishwasher, Amazon is the answer. Quick note: I don't get paid for this.
