I bought this to replace the stock killswitch lanyard on my Tracker, which had lost its elasticity and stretched out. This is a perfect replacement, and it comes in blue to match the boat. I also like the carabiner-style clip to attach to the life vest, which is more convenient than the stock clip.

Overall, this is good quality. Sure, this will stretch to 54', however, the coil/elasticity is so tight that you maybe have about 18" before the kill switch is triggered. Hopefully it will stretch out.
